It has seriously been so much fun doing events for Beyond Canning, talking about the book, and getting folks excited about shoving lemons in mason jars. The virtual blog book tour is still going strong too! I also wanted to share some photos from some recent book events.
Above and below, I’m preaching about making sauerkraut and other fermented veggies in a quart mason jar at the Gila County Master Gardeners Spring Garden Workshop. My favorite part (besides the emus, which you can see in the background of this pic) was the woman who asked “that’s it?” after I finished my demo. Yeah! It really is that easy. I was totally delighted to be at the Tucson Book Festival this year. It’s a really an amazing undertaking, so huge! These are the sort of photos that I take and text to my mom when I’m at events 😉
